    Webmaster
Austin Bunton Design (Abd) Jun 2007 - Present
    (Global)
After earning two collegiate degrees in computer science (namely information technology with a concentration in information systems security, along with a hearty amount of computer programming, integrated development environment familiarization, computer aided design application work, and website building and maintenance), I built my own company's website, which includes more than 900 inter-related pages, complete with graphics, sound clips, drop-down menus, forms, interactive widgets and other features, and a complex discussion forum for hundreds of other writers, inventors, and world travelers. I have also directed and managed the complex overhaul of the entire 900-webpage site over the last year, vastly increasing this website's efficiency in terms of organization and functionality. I also collect, proof-read, screen, edit, and upload terabytes of content, including photo albums and video-blogs for ongoing, indefinite, global expeditions to regularly refine the also-ongoing resort-city project.

  • Home Improvement
    Administrative Specialist
    Home Improvement Dec 2018 - Feb 2019
    Montana
I was hired by a Fortune 50 company (USD 70B in revenue); the top seller of appliances in the country. It includes thousands of locations across the continent and overseas. I managed 150+ employees' personnel, medical, legal, workers comp', and other files across dozens of departments, some specializing in appliances, building materials, delivery, electrical work, garden, hardware, installation, lumber, paint, plumbing, etc. I also handled bi-monthly payroll close-out, driver logs, and training new-hires on safety and a variety of computer systems. I reviewed call-ins and issues with time-card punch-ins and outs. I assigned and signed off on training for all employees. I screened hundreds of applicants each month and selected which ones to send to the interviewers and hiring managers. I participated in weekly meetings with staff and leadership to coordinate all work. I also reviewed training and licensing reports, updating assistant managers and department supervisors to ensure their employees stayed within regulations, avoiding fines. I conducted drug tests and monitored their processing and results. I initiated background checks and electronic verification of government-issued forms of ID. I terminated employees who had resigned or found work elsewhere. I processed pay-rate adjustments and promotions. I posted job openings to the company website. Numerous flights out of state for administrative support training at the district level was part of this job; travel for work was ~75% of the time for the first few weeks. Advertising and promoting through major media channels for hiring events became the focus during the national hiring campaign which brought in 50,000 new-hires for the company. I organized and sealed old files for long-term storage, and used a staffing planner to determine how many weeks in advance to post job openings, schedule interviews, drug test, initiate background checks, and start pre-employment training.

  • Move-Up (Missouri Veterans Entrepreneurs United Project)
    Vp And R+D Director
Move-Up (Missouri Veterans Entrepreneurs United Project) Jan 2017 - Feb 2017
    Missouri
Partnering with universities, technical colleges, and other veteran-based organizations across the country, MOVE-UP is working to help 15,000 veterans transitioning off active-duty and/or into agriculture. My job with MOVE-UP is to introduce the team and its participants to farms, classrooms, technologies, processes, and free building materials which they can use to retrofit or build from scratch, regardless of whether they have just a house or apartment, or want to start fresh with several acres or more for their own farm or ranch. We provide education, hands-on training, donated starter plants and seeds, connections to established and highly successful farmers across the state, information on endless supplies of free construction materials and volunteers, and introductions to many more resources anywhere the need arises. I also develop more affordable and efficient ways to build tools, vehicles, and structures, saving each current and future farmer many thousands of dollars every year. One of our current projects has resulted in a mobile farm, which used to cost ~$100,000, now costing only ~$3,000 to make and ship. MOVE-UP ensures veterans have support and stability so that they can provide for themselves, their families, and their communities. In the years to come, we will be working to fill the projected need for 1,000,000 new farmers to replace those close to and at retirement age. Missouri is the 2nd-most ag-oriented state in the country, next to Texas, and has the potential to be the western hemisphere's #1 exporter of every crop there is. If you want to grow something on your farm, or need to set up a farm in the first place, I can show you how. *I also explain the therapeutic effects of rural and farm life, which drops stress levels in most, if not all, veterans experiencing PTS (formerly PTSD). Even disabled veterans will find my curriculum, the MOVE-UP program, and farming in general easy, especially with the automation and apps now available.
