I was hired by a Fortune 50 company (USD 70B in revenue); the top seller of appliances in the country. It includes thousands of locations across the continent and overseas. I managed 150+ employees' personnel, medical, legal, workers comp', and other files across dozens of departments, some specializing in appliances, building materials, delivery, electrical work, garden, hardware, installation, lumber, paint, plumbing, etc. I also handled bi-monthly payroll close-out, driver logs, and training new-hires on safety and a variety of computer systems. I reviewed call-ins and issues with time-card punch-ins and outs. I assigned and signed off on training for all employees. I screened hundreds of applicants each month and selected which ones to send to the interviewers and hiring managers. I participated in weekly meetings with staff and leadership to coordinate all work. I also reviewed training and licensing reports, updating assistant managers and department supervisors to ensure their employees stayed within regulations, avoiding fines. I conducted drug tests and monitored their processing and results. I initiated background checks and electronic verification of government-issued forms of ID. I terminated employees who had resigned or found work elsewhere. I processed pay-rate adjustments and promotions. I posted job openings to the company website. Numerous flights out of state for administrative support training at the district level was part of this job; travel for work was ~75% of the time for the first few weeks. Advertising and promoting through major media channels for hiring events became the focus during the national hiring campaign which brought in 50,000 new-hires for the company. I organized and sealed old files for long-term storage, and used a staffing planner to determine how many weeks in advance to post job openings, schedule interviews, drug test, initiate background checks, and start pre-employment training.

I managed a 30-acre 28-greenhouse 400-animal operation, which included heavy machinery, property line marking, fencing, greenhouse tarp/plastic donning and doffing, planting, irrigation system installation, maintenance, weeding, tilling, ground burning (to combat slugs), feeding, feed growing in a retrofitted shipping container, egg collecting, diesel generator operation, solar panel adjustments, lumberjack work, site cleanup, storage unit organization, inventorying dry goods and other supplies, restocking medical supplies, and supervising/babysitting the farm families' children on the farm, at the bus stop, and at the local beaches during days off. The operation produced carrots, kale, lettuce, potatoes, Swiss chard, and fruit from a variety of trees being tested in that soil and climate zone. I introduced the owner and farmhands to all of the high-tech sustainable farming technologies I studied and am certified in. An offer was made to have me work at this farm full-time for a decade or longer. This job was part of my transition from small farms in Montana to medium farms along the Arctic, which will be followed by large farms in polar and other remote regions.

I was selected to lead the senior staff of Craig Bowden during his campaign to become a U.S. Senator for the state of Utah. I will be managing his senior staff of 10 other experts and community leaders, who will be managing teams of their own. We are currently coordinating with many other supporters, and are preparing to increase our total team to several hundred people during the next half decade. My duties as Campaign Manager include conducting briefings, researching relevant news and technologies, updating detailed maps, drafting projections and revising budgets, and ensuring that all of the other senior staff members have the knowledge and other tools they need to remain in excellent shape physically and mentally for the duration of this campaign.

Partnering with universities, technical colleges, and other veteran-based organizations across the country, MOVE-UP is working to help 15,000 veterans transitioning off active-duty and/or into agriculture. My job with MOVE-UP is to introduce the team and its participants to farms, classrooms, technologies, processes, and free building materials which they can use to retrofit or build from scratch, regardless of whether they have just a house or apartment, or want to start fresh with several acres or more for their own farm or ranch. We provide education, hands-on training, donated starter plants and seeds, connections to established and highly successful farmers across the state, information on endless supplies of free construction materials and volunteers, and introductions to many more resources anywhere the need arises. I also develop more affordable and efficient ways to build tools, vehicles, and structures, saving each current and future farmer many thousands of dollars every year. One of our current projects has resulted in a mobile farm, which used to cost ~$100,000, now costing only ~$3,000 to make and ship. MOVE-UP ensures veterans have support and stability so that they can provide for themselves, their families, and their communities. In the years to come, we will be working to fill the projected need for 1,000,000 new farmers to replace those close to and at retirement age. Missouri is the 2nd-most ag-oriented state in the country, next to Texas, and has the potential to be the western hemisphere's #1 exporter of every crop there is. I mastered the Primavera software suite for project management, along with the Oracle database interface application, and the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS), as well as the employee portal and a dozen other support applications. I managed hundreds of sensitive and classified projects for both civilian and military personnel, some projects including tens of thousands of inter-related activities and resources, and many projects being multi-million and multi-billion dollar endeavors on the national scale. I also met often with project managers from other departments and offices, explaining spreadsheet templates, schedules, tasking, forms, policies, and more.

I drove Lincoln Towncars (half limousine, half taxi) across the Dallas / Ft.Worth metroplex for hundreds of clients, handling all vehicle maintenance and working the GPS. Pick-ups and drop-offs included on-call (all hours of the day and night), airport runs, and covered many thousands of miles.

I opened, closed, cleaned, and helped manage the 2-story gym, handling patron check-in, sales via the cash register, product advice, and fitness classes explanations and schedule updates. Gym maintenance included pool, hot tub, and cycling room cleaning.

Having graduated from 3 months of nonstop training, I mastered a dozen computer applications, including cellular phone network interfaces, cellular relay tower status maps, the employee portal, and remote-access cellular phone diagnostics. Handling dozens of calls every day, I helped many thousands of customers resolve cell phone issues without having to bring their phones in to T-Mobile stores. I also coordinated with other departments and technicians both in the field and in other support facilities across the nation to report, escalate, and cooperatively resolve trouble tickets and other issues, such as outages and network congestion during holidays and major events.

I worked with and led Marines through over 200 combat missions, patrolling and securing dozens of cities, suburbs, and towns throughout the Al Anbar province of Iraq, predominantly in Faluja (sometimes spelled Fallujah). I carried around 40 lbs. of weapons, armor, and gear, operated in sub-zero nights, near 140 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer, and sometimes without sleep or food for extended periods of time. I also helped rebuild communities, provide security for mayors and other officials at meetings, worked as a convoy security specialist and adviser, cross-trained Marines from numerous other units on the proper use of multiple weapon and optics systems, and gathered and reported upon various types of intel. during and after every mission. Upon the completion of these duties, I was promoted and assigned to the Urban Warfare Training Center to be an instructor of Marines preparing to deploy to war-zones around the world, as well as an instructor to other, incoming, instructor-candidates.

I handled food preparation and cooking of all pizza and side dish ingredients/recipes, including making huge batches of dough from scratch. I also did inventory and restocking, including moving 60-lb boxes of soda bags, hooking them up to the pressurized hoses to refill the fountain drink machines. I also opened, closed, helped with the buffet line, bused tables, occasionally worked the cash register, and handled clean-up.

I worked the cash register and prepared food and drinks during some shift portions, also opening, closing, and cleaning up any theaters requiring attention.

This was my first job. I did opening, closing, food preparation, cooking, cleaning, cashiering, busing tables, and took phone orders.
