Designed a triaxial vibration fixture for environmental stress screening of a contracted aircraft position / anti-collision lighting product. Conducted random vibration and static structural finite element analysis to identify design vulnerabilities for improving resilience. Utilized standard ASME drafting and GD&T practices to convey design functionality.

Created strategies to significantly reduce design time of rural microgrid systems. This included translating network GIS topology and load data of remote villages in Niger, Africa into one-line power models in the power engineering software XENDEE by utilizing custom data translation processes. These models were utilized to visualize asset sizing.

As a member of the materials and manufacturing team, I utilized Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding to manufacture carbon fiber / foam composite sandwich structures for the shell and chassis components of the pod design. As a member of the computer-aided design sub team, I utilized SolidWorks to model subsystems. I ran finite element analysis on models.

I led a first-year undergraduate class by helping the students get acclimated to the university. My responsibilities include lecturing on topics such as campus resources, extracurricular involvement, and career opportunities.
