• Helped to ramp up and mentor a new team in Sandy to assist other teams based in India with the development of platform microservices used by products in the NICE inContact suite.• Designed and developed new features for the platform. • Lead a team of developers with a primary focus of: 1) identifying services that we can decouple from our on-premises monolithic application and migrate them to Microsoft Azure. 2) designing and implementing solutions for interfacing our records management system with other public safety applications• Designed a solution to "lift and shift" our application from on-premises to Microsoft Azure, using an IaaS platform

• Oversee the architecture and design decisions for development on a records management system for law enforcement• Created a central configuration service that allowed the application configuration to persist across upgrades and be shared among all servers in the cluster• Redesigned some of the data access code to eliminate locks in the database that were causing performance problems with the application. Also made changes to the data access code to eliminate deadlocks that were causing some transactions to fail.• Updated the security for the records management system to be CJIS compliant. Redesigned the authentication to the application to include multi-factor authentication. Updated the WCF endpoints to use TLS, and use certificates and encryption algorithms that are FIPS 140-2 compliant.• Started designing a new records management system using manged services in the AWS platform, with an emphasis on serverless technology.

• Oversaw the architecture and design decisions for development on the records management system• Designed a new Jail application using many of the components and services that we created for the law enforcement records management system• Designed and created a solution for auto updating our thick clients using BITS technology• Created a HTML5/AngularJS prototype of our client that could be used on any platform, including mobile devices

• Helped design the application for a next-gen law enforcement records management system based on SOA architecture and using Microsoft .NET 3.5 and 4.0 technologies, such as WCF, WPF, and WF, and using SQL Server 2008. • Helped design the security model and create the Security Token Service for securing the application services with SAML tokens • Reworked many of the front-end components to adopt the MVVM pattern in order to facilitate unit testing and the addition of new skins/themes to the UI.

• Developed components for web-based legacy records management system using SQL Server 2000 and Oracle 9i for the database layer,VB6 COM+ components for the application layer, and ASP web pages for the front-end• Acted as technical lead for a contract team based in Australia that was building a multi-million dollar system for one of our clients. I spent two months in Adelaide, Australia training the team on our technologies and our architecture
