I'm a curious Cyber Security Engineer and recent graduate of Computer Forensics & Cyber Security at the University of Dubuque. I've been pursuing this field since I was about 13 years old, and have been learning more every day since then.== I'm currently working on (this is updated weekly) ==- Self-teaching C/Rust for Malware Development & improving tool speed- Scheduling my CRTO certification exam - Rooting 'Alert' on HackTheBox- Competing in the NSA's 2024 CodeBreaker CTF== Personal / Get to know me ==Outside of my vocational interests/hobbies, I'm an avid citizen-scientist, and love to use my skills in CS to improve research in other scientific fields, such as: ◽Astronomy: I have built and automated my own computerized telescope system with the help of microcontrollers and Python-automated code (along with a few other proprietary astro coding languages) which collects data on molecular clouds in space (see my Nebula post!), galaxies, and exoplanets to contribute to research surveys.◽Microbiology: I also do Protozoology research with a local university and conduct community-based Ciliate/Microorganism identification in order to help categorize & collect data on Protists. I always try to leave each day more educated than the last, and my curiosity for everything I learn about drives me forward!
