- Oversee contractors working on transmission natural gas and or transmission electric projects. Including installing new transmission 36” gas mains, new transmission feeders, as well as retiring and working on existing transmission facilities. - Track and monitor contractor personnel, equipment, and subcontractors on job site. - Coordinating with Corrosion Personnel, Welding Inspectors, and X-Ray Technicians to ensure 36” transmission gas mains are installed safely and properly before backfill. - Ensure safe practices are established and maintained during all excavating, backfilling, and restoration activities are occurring.- Review contractor monthly performance statements for base contract work and any additional work that was performed. Resolve and disputes or disagreements over work that was performed with the contractor. - Track and monitor third party asbestos abatement contractor for safe removal of coal tar coating from transmission electric feeders.

- Conduct annual inspections of steel natural gas pipelines. Including gas mains, services, and isolated services to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines. - Work with contractors and internal forces to direct and ensure the correct installation of the cathodic protection equipment. Such equipment being test stations, magnesium anodes, mixed metal oxide anode for rectifiers, header cables for the anode bed, and pipelines coatings- Visually inspect any above ground exposed steel pipelines facilities for atmospheric corrosion including gas meters and the fittings, gas mains/services that were hanging on the side or under bridges, inside gate stations where the mains were above ground.

- Assist field personnel with supplying necessary tools, materials, and equipment for the installation of natural gas mains and services. - Lend support to the mechanic to ensure the company fleet, heavy machinery, and smaller equipment were maintained for optimal functionality. - Through Skoda Contracting I was given the opportunity to provide consulting operations through the companies subsidiary of Atlantic Research and Design. In this role I audited the incoming service records (As-Builts) for Elizabethtown Gas. - In the consulting role I would review the information provided for the installation of a new gas services and ensure the drawing, and information correlated. Any discrepancies were either clarified or sent back to the contractor to be revised.
