As a Texas police officer with over 30 years of experience teaching law enforcement, corporations, and all types of individuals how to prevent, manage, and recover from crime, I believe in being a guardian always and a warrior when needed. This principle is especially true when it comes to protecting yourself, your family, or your home.In 2012, I founded Virtual Tactical Academy, a virtual reality-based gun fighting instruction tool that uses modern adult learning concepts. Through this tool, I have trained thousands of students on how to manage critical thinking and use of force under immense emotional pressure. I also developed the Cover, Concealment, and Angle Trainer (CCAT) in 2016, which is now widely used in military and law enforcement across the US.I'm a certified law enforcement pepper spray (OC) instructor, and my passion for safety training and outside-the-box teaching methods led me to become the National Training Director for Concealed Coalition.
