Single project contract for to assist a team with the commissioning of the FFT-CFSP plant at Syncrude base plant. The project was successfully completed.Lead in charge of vendor coordination and vendor close out on a major Syncrude project. Overseeing the scopes of work, scheduling and onsite direction of 20+ vendors. Main tasks included ensuring the proper vendors would be onsite at the right time to coordinate with the construction schedule. Ensure that they had the available technical support and clearly defined scope. Also work with technical leads to get required technical information from Vendors. Procurement and expediting parts on order from Vendors.

o Advises on technical problems, providing guidance, and reviews work to ensure technical accuracy and overall quality o Coordinates tasks, work schedules, and project deliverables to ensure that project schedule and budget goals are achieved o Involved in numerous designs for natural gas systems (well site tie-ins, gas facilities, pipelines, gas lifts and compressor stations) o Prepares estimates and budgets, manages drawings including piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and performs equipment sizing and selection o Resolves difficult client and engineering problems by modifying guidelines, developing new approaches, and applying existing procedures o Collaborates with vendors and subcontractors to interpret project specifications and contract criteria o Always maintains a health and safety focus including in design and procurement
