• Build: Assembled the purchased propeller, safety shroud, DC motor, motor controller, linear bearings, torque sensor and high power lithium polymer batteries to the fabricated motor saddle, box beam, table, linear.
• Test: Wrote Labview code to measure and record the system's input voltage, current, and throttle setting as well as the output voltage, current, torque, thrust, and RPM.
• Report: Wrote lab apparatus set-up manual, lab procedure report and detailed test findings.
• Ongoing: This lab was intended to be incorporated into AERO 401 Propulsion Systems as the first electric aircraft propulsion system that Cal Poly Aerospace Engineering Undergraduates encounter and learn about.
