Responsibilities:PHONE SERVER ADMIN• Managing user access and rights.• Responsible for managing and administrating devices and services of the department apart from maintaining an inventory of the active service accounts and the equipment accounts.• Responsible for the overall administration of telecommunications over the campus and seeing that all departments are well managed and administered.• Responsible for maintaining spare parts inventories.• Responsible for the systems administration associated with move, add or change requests. • Implementing and maintaining security protocols• Research/Implement phone server upgrades.• Phone deployment for new employees.MDM (Mobile Device Management) ADMIN/ JAMF ADMIN• Maintain university owned devices. Facilitating the purchase, ordering, and delivery of new devices to new or existing employees.• Setup new devices for employees and maintain existing devices. Devices are configured with USM settings, apps, and restrictions and then deployed to employees.• Mobile device updates as needed.• Implementing Security Policies (Implement and enforce USM’s security policies)• Troubleshooting and technical support.• Develop, maintain, and deploy USM MAC OS images and software packages to Mac laptops and desktop clients.• Creating packages for applications to deploy onto devices across the campus.• Maintain applications are up to date (Creating update packages and deploying them to university owned devices)TRANSACT ADMIN• Work with the required parties to understand operational needs and configure the POS system to meet those needs.• Troubleshoot store hardware and software, including office computers, printers, POS terminals, POS printers, and other peripheral hardware and software.• Creating, managing and maintaining users within the transact system.

Responsibilties:Provide customer service for the end user’s technology needs, by means of phone, in person or remote control. Document all phone calls and work orders in the KACE service desk. Respond to KACE support requests and assist in troubleshooting any problems that arise.Assign tickets in the KACE service desk to appropriate team members.Image, configure and deploy PC/MAC/laptop hardware and software as necessary.Move and install computer systems as required.Support audio/visual equipment, conference room, and classroom technology.Maintain current knowledge of all office applications, Windows and Mac operating systems.Assist in the installation and management of software licenses.Perform life cycle management, including the transfer of ownership/disposal of computers.Exercise initiative in the support of customers. Schedule, prioritize and accomplish projects and tasks in a timely and effective manner.Have a security mindset and implement security measures.Create and utilizes the knowledge base and other support documentation to identify, isolate, diagnose and resolve end users’ technical problems and provide information and status as requested.Provide occasional out of hours support.Ability to explain technical problems in layman's terms.Maintain accurate client network documentation.Other job-related duties as assigned.
