Currently, I am a consultant expedited reviewer for NMP Engineering, reviewing SWM and Sediment Control Plans for various state agencies. My primary role is as the lead expedited reviewer for MDE permits. Prior to that, my first job out of college was with Bohler Engineering where I was a Design Engineer, doing civil site design. I then moved to Maryland Department of the Environment as a reviewer, reviewing state and federal projects for compliance with the state Sediment Control and Stormwater Management. Towards the end of my time there I additionally acted as a technical lead to other staff engineers. I then went back to the design realm, working for Bay Engineering. There I was a design engineer, working in a progressively more independent roll doing civil site design for residential and commercial applications. Following my move to Maryland's Eastern Shore, I took a job with Talbot County DPW. I acted as the lead reviewer for residential Stormwater permits as well as aiding the assistant County Engineer in reviewing commercial Stormwater permits I had an additional roll of managing the county MISS Utility program. Upon attaining my PE, and due to the demands of my growing family, I returned to the design community and acted as a Design Engineer for Lane Engineering. I acted independently as a lead designer for residential and commercial civil site design. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering in May, 2008. I've worked for Reliable Contracting, working one summer in the field and the next in the estimation department. I have also interned for Olver, a consulting firm in Blacksburg. I started with them in May of 2007 and continue to work for them part time till I graduated. There, I work with CAD, GIS, and hydraulic analysis.
