I have worked for the Boys & Girls Club for 10 years. I started as a Club kid, which then lead to a job as a Youth Development Professional, a summer camp Counselor. As a Club kid I went to a leadership conference in Colorado, I was a Youth of the Year runner up, and have participated in many programs throughout the Club. I worked my way to running one of their satelite sites as the Site Coordinator, I then became the Program Coordinator, and currently have moved to the Athletic Director position. Throughout my positions at the Club I have learnt management of staff, staff schedules, transportation, and transportation scheduling. I have run many programs for children from the age of 5-18. This includes peewee basketball ages 5 to 8, floor hockey for children in 3rd to 6th grade, sports club for children in Kindergartner to first grade, tee ball for children ages 3 and 4, volleyball programs for girls from 3rd grade to 12th grade, and more. I have also helped fundraise for these programs to get new equipment to keep the program running. I have worked with many volunteers, as well as have coached a basketball team. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and have completed Pro Solutions trainings required by the state. I have also completed an abuse training through Boys & Girls Clubs of America. I have received the Stewardship Award which is awarded to a board or staff member that they have felt has provided excellent service throughout the the Club. While working at the Club I also bus tables at T-Bones. I am a hard worker and have a good work ethic.
