As the Owner of Uncommon Ventures, I create the ultimate destination fishing experience for serious anglers who want a unique adventure. Listening to people and understanding what they want makes each trip unique. I strive to tailor each trip so that anglers receive the best experience. Whether fly fishing for Billfish for more dedicated fishers, or fishing with conventional tackle for a social experience, I ensure that all aspects of the trip are organized and seamlessly executed. I am passionate about bringing people to new areas of the world. Over the years, my ability to network with different lodge owners has allowed me to create relationships that bring groups to their dream destinations to fish. Past locations have included Costa Rica, Chili, Patagonia, Panama, and Argentina, to name a few. One of my favorite destinations is Alaska; sight fishing for wild steelhead in skinny water is my greatest passion. The Tongass National Forrest is a temperate rainforest. The hemlock and cedar trees are magnificent. All five species of salmon spawn in the streams and rivers, providing nutrients for prolific populations of mammals and birds of prey. Traveling by boat to the remote areas of the Tongass allows anglers to fish on unpressured streams. We have a most comfortable boat and a fishing program that has been tested and perfected. Without question, this is the pinnacle of a sport fishing adventure in the Pacific Northwest.
