At the Central Bank, my contribution in the formulation of investment strategy for Global FX/MM/FI portfolios has moved from tactical to strategic, over the years. Before joining the central bank, I was research analyst at a brokerage house, focusing on valuation of stocks in telecom and polyester staple fiber sectors. The exposure to private and public sectors has been extremely enriching.Teaching students in universities and institutes in MBA/CFA/HTML5/CSS3 programs has been a passion on the sidelines, all through these years. I believe that curriculum in MBA programs, should be reflective of developments in financial markets, which in some cases make textbook theory less practical! As such, the role of market practitioners in the visiting faculty programs is crucial for study programs to remain relevant and focused on producing graduates, who have developed the necessary knowledge base and mental aptitude, required by potential employer-institutions.
