I extracted DNA from the sea anemone aiptasia pulchella and prepared it for sequencing. This involved taking a tissue sample, extracting DNA, performing PCR, and purifying the result which was sent to be sequenced.

Worked on deck of a salmon seining vessel. Included 18 hour work days, precise following of instruction even when exhausted, and quick and deliberate action. General maintenance and cleaning of vessel and being aware at all times. Usually 72 hour work week, before maintenance and cleaning.
