I am the Director of Franchise Sales & Development for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, focused on the growth of Luxury & Upscale Brands in the West United States including Wyndham Grand, The Registry Collection, and WaterWalk by Wyndham. Prior to joining Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, I was Vice President with CBRE Hotels in Orlando, where I closed on over $150 million in hotel sales. Prior to CBRE, I worked for Margaritaville Enterprises corporate office in Orlando, Florida for two years as Manager, Investments focused on the growth of the brand’s lodging portfolio. Prior to Margaritaville, I worked for HFF (now JLL) in Orlando in Investment Sales & Debt Placement on their hotel team. I also have previous experience at HVS, conducting hotel appraisals, feasibility, and market studies throughout the South and Southeast U.S, and hotel operations experience with brands including Mandarin Oriental, St. Regis, Sofitel, and Atlantis (Dubai, UAE).When not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife Brittany and our daughter.You can contact me at austin.lapoten@wyndham.com
