Business started by my 2 elder brothers, to raise funds for the local Boys'​ Brigade company that we were all involved with.Became primary DJ and co-owner with my middle brother around 1980, after our eldest brother moved away, and took over sole-ownership in early- to mid-90's.Joined forces with a fellow DJ, forming the business ACAL Sound & Light, to provide Sound & Lighting Engineer services to local bands around 1997.Retired from regular DJ work around 2005. Still operate on ad-hoc basis for selected events.Joined the Thames Valley Disc Jockeys' Association (TVDJA) in 1982. Joined Committee in 1983. Elected Chairman 1984 and remained in Office until it changed name to become the National Association of Disc Jockeys (NADJ) in January 2004. Remained as founding-Chairman of NADJ until AGM in May 2005, also undertaking role of Treasurer from 2003-2006.Presented with Honorary Life Membership of NADJ upon my retirement from the committee in 2006.
