I am a current student, enrolled at Hocking College. I am studying in Health Information Technology/Medical Records. I have a strong fascination about the medical field, especially helping in the business aspects of it. I strive to be proficient at coding medical procedures, and updating medical records to ensure patients have the right coverage and receive fair billing. I want to ensure patients get fair treatment, and that my coding skills cover a vast variety of material so I can be the best at what I do. Upon graduation, I strike to become a Physician's Assistant. I have always been a caring person that likes to help people. My mother works in surgery and has taught me a lot of things growing up. This career field sparked my imagination immediately, which is what eventually sparked me to advance along this pathway. The pay is very good, and I want to make sure someday I can more than take care of my family. I went through high school achieving all A's in my anatomy, and other health classes along with excelling on the required college courses I have been given so far.
