A graduate of Western Michigan University. I'm interested in pursuing a career in recreation and sports management. Over the past four years, I've completed coursework for sports management and general business. In addition to my classroom experience, I have participated in sports and recreation for over 15 years.During my time with the Kalamazoo Growlers, I started as a Stadium Operations Intern and later mved into a front office support role in order to complete over 500 hours of required internship hours. Over a totla of 6 months I learned how to properly manage and maintain a baseball stadium with a capacity of four thousand patrons. In the front office, I assisted in planning events to maintain revenue flow thourghout the offseason, as well as working with the maketing and sales team. I was able to sell ticket packages and develop new sponsorship relations, while also brainstorming new events for the next season in order to keep the Kalamazoo Growlers experience fresh, unique, and fun for all ages.
