As Berth Operator, I am at the helm of the affairs for steering sampling and labelling of products onboard vessels by using a closed sampling methodology. I serve as Frontline Person in response to emergencies on the vessel, jetty, and shore side, including medical emergency, plant/equipment failure, fire, and oil spill. Also, I operate cranes onshore and, on the vessel, to lift and manoeuvre hoses/equipment and sling and rig items.Following are highlights of the key achievements that I attained:► Improved coordination among site operatives, control room, loading master, chief officer, and shipping agents to streamline loading operations.► Managed operations of 9 berths by making connections/disconnections between vessels and shore via the ship/shore manifolds using hard loading arms or hoses. ► Conducted safety checks on vessels following ISGOTT and ISPS regulations.

In the capacity of Ski Instructor, I was responsible for supporting avalanche recovery activities by performing snow profiling, field test comparison/analysis, weather forecast analysis, and avalanche hazard forecasting. I am adept at manually collecting and labelling samples from the top, middle, and bottom of the tanks to conduct microbiological growth analysis. Moreover, I used pumps and pipework to drain the water from the bunds and start processing water to skim off contaminated oil.
