Throughout my time in the MIS Club, I received the opportunity to take on 3 major roles inside the organization: Marketing Officer, Financial Officer, and Vice President. These positions offered me an experience at WSU that's difficult to get. My enjoyment stemmed from learning from both my peers and faculty in the Carson College of Business, while also giving them the opportunity to become a community.My responsibilities as the Marketing Officer would revolve around using any tools at my disposal to get the word out and retaining our member while also encouraging new members to join. As Financial Officer, I was in charge of handling our budgets for each semester from receiving donations to reimbursing our members. As Vice President of the club, I took on some of the responsibilities from my previous positions, provided myself as a conduit for ideas, and attending executive meetings that included the other business clubs

As the recruitment officer, I reached out to peers around the WSU campus who were interested about Greek life and potentially wanted to join the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. These responsibilities included planning recruitment events over the course of the year, giving information about the fraternity to students and their parents, and help mentor these students, if they wish to become involved in the Greek community.
