My main responsibility in this role is to maintain and upgrade services that fall under the Purchase domain. I also lead major initiatives for services that are pertaining to the checkout experience as well as assisting with other major services with in other domains. This generally includes project development and planning, architectural design, communicating contracts and other needs with front end, and leading the backed end development. In this role I am still very independent but now I do not only build out tasks for myself, but also assist with building out project epics that contain work that may be allocated to other teams/engineers in other domains. I feel very comfortable in the engineer role, but I feel as if I am contributing as effectively as a senior.

In this role my main responsibility is to implement and develop new features for the Purchase domain. This includes working with several services such as the Cart and Payment related services. I independently plan tasks for myself that include but are not limited to: documentation, api feature implementation, api upgrades, service peak prep, etc. I have been able to work with several tools such as docker, Postgres, Dynamo db, Kafka, Locust, Grafana, Kubernetes, and many other development tools. I enjoy learning more every day and continuing my passion in software!

My time on X-team was amazing! I started fresh helping with customer service, taking calls and chat message’s back before the pandemic hit. Right after that, we all worked from home and I began to assist with some of our Assistant Managers duties and new programs brought into the team. Roughly after a year, I began to assist with Work Force Analysis with task such as attendance, work avoidance, and other internal activities. The most important role and responsibilities of this job is taking care of the customer. Over the counter retail sales is majority of one’s duties. Also keeping the store stocked with product and reorganizing the products floor layout as well as price changes. Keeping the store clean and keeping up with profits made by other employees.
