About Me:I was born and raised in Southeastern Arizona. I am the oldest child and the best older brother my 3 little sisters could ever ask for. My family is everything to me, and we find ourselves in constant competition, whether it be in card games, or on the basketball court! If we aren't doing that, you'll probably see us at the nearest Pickelball courts or on a bike ride!I was also the winner of Gila Valley Idol, a local singing competition, in 2021. I then used those winnings to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Mozambique Beira Mission speaking Portuguese.My comm background:As a kid, I never had a problem writing, and I enjoyed it. My genuine interest in journalism started in high school, realizing that Sportscasting is something I would love to do.I am a Communications major with an emphasis on News and Journalism and am currently working to further my studies to become a Sportscaster.I have worked with BYU-Idaho Radio since October, first as a Music Programmer and now as the Intern.
