Oversee pool operations and a staff of 15 lifeguards and enforce pool regulations for 10-30+ guest swimmers Plan and schedule lifeguarding shifts based on availability, conflicts, and personal preference Active lifeguarding during pool hours, including: identifying potential hazards and safety concerns and responding accordingly, enforcing rules and expectations for the pool, such as no running, no glass and bottles, etc., ensuring swimmers were in the correct pool, establishing a physical barrier to prevent guests from walking in unsafe areas Regular maintenance and cleaning of 3 pools and other facilities, including: hosing down the floor after the pool was closed, taking out the trash to the dumpster, using net and relocating robotic pool cleaner to remove leaves and other debris from the pool, and hosing, sweeping, and mopping bathroom stalls Led tours of the facility, as needed for potential members, showcasing unique pool facilities (i.e. stationary water guns, water-umbrella mushroom, etc.), weight room, clubhouse, and tennis courts, providing pricing information, and highlighting future neighborhood and facility developments Front desk and weight room attendant during winter and other non-peak hours, including: greeting and checking in guests, monitoring exercise equipment and free weights, cleaning, tidying, and resetting machines and weights after workouts, and closing the office daily by turning off the television, lights, and cleaning the locker room
