I work with the DaVinci team to develop educational resources, provide consultation services and professional development for clients (health science educators), and offer insight into the development of DaVinci products, specifically Leo - our powerful and insightful learning and content management system for healthcare education.

I am an instructor for Geography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) courses at Tulsa Community College. I've taught both World Regional and Cultural Geography courses along with GIS. In my geography courses, we utilize GIS as both a learning tool and a topic of learning itself.

I supported faculty, staff, and students with instructional design, strategies, curriculum implementation, and educational technologies as we partnered together to develop and deliver an innovative medical education. Ultimately, we sought to impact rural Oklahoma as OSU-CHS's mission is to serve the under-served population of Oklahoma.

For two years in Springfield, I taught middle school social studies. In my classroom, students discovered World History (from the fall of Rome to the Enlightenment) and developed literacy strategies using technological tools. Students used an LMS (Canvas) and Google Apps for Education as a means to collaborate and complete assignments. Assignments in my classroom were a mix of objective assessments and project-based activities. I transitioned, however into district administration in the summer of 2015. In that new role, I provided leadership for the integration of project-based learning into the K-12 Curriculum in Springfield, MO. Project-based learning provides one of the most effective methods for students to learn important content as well as skills that will serve them later in life such as creativity, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration. In my position, I worked alongside the other curriculum team members as we sought to help teachers integrate this effective instructional practice using online content and professional development along with face-to-face meetings, large-group training opportunities, and individual consultations.

As a teacher at South-Doyle High School, I taught freshmen-level world geography courses, U.S. History, and world history courses for two years.As the school-level technology coordinator, I provided professional development opportunities for faculty and staff regularly, planned and co-taught with master, mentor & career teachers, stayed up-to-date with the latest trends in technology in education via webinars, blogs, and general research, led the school technology team, made decisions about hardware and software purchases as well as budget decisions. I also helped to develop the short and long-term technology plans for the school, and I worked with and effectively communicated the school's needs to the district technology team.

I provided assistance on a number of GIS research projects in the GIST group at ORNL.

Provided instructional support and aide for introductory geography courses as well as upper level courses. Met with students, maintained student records and grades, provided instruction on an as-needed basis.

I was responsible for updating existing and adding new utility services in a GIS application and as well as providing support with the design of maps and services for other departments.
