• Created a data importer for a high end fashion company. The importer took in the company’s inventory in the form of a CSV file and stored it into a MySQL database that interfaces with Liferay’s Digital Experience Platform and Commerce products. As a result, the company no longer has to manage their inventory by hand, as it automatically updates real-time upon processing of orders, either in-store or online.• Consulted as a subject matter expert for a super regional bank. Assisted in migrating client’s legacy file storage to Amazon S3 store, debugged client’s code base, analyzed pain points, implemented hotfixes, and walked the client through how to deploy said fixes via video call.• Developed proof of concept for another super regional bank based on user requirements provided by the bank. Created a custom REST endpoint, integrated a third party bank calculator web application with Liferay DXP, and performed code reviews on teammates’ pull requests.• Collaborated with other departments to develop an internal application with Java, HTML, CSS, and Javascript that would be used by the sales and marketing teams to increase the likelihood of closing deals with companies from a target industry.• Onboarded new hires by reviewing solutions to coding assignments and relaying constructive criticism during code presentations.• Supervised and trained a team of interns to analyze client issues, make code design decisions, and implement efficient and well-organized solutions using the MVC architectural pattern.
