Throughout my early childhood development and academic career, I have always been focused on one thing: how can I give back to my community. I have tried career ventures in sales, finance, and human resources but none seem to give me the satisfaction I desire.After a lot of research, advice from friends and mentors, and personal thoughts I have decided to pursue a career in consulting. As a business major, I find the complex inner workings of a process interesting. I enjoy working with individuals to not only discover solutions to issues, but I strive to have a better understanding of the various roles that make up a business or a process. I want to apply these interests in a way that gives back to a community and helps companies grow.The idea of community is so important to me. The people of my hometown believed in me before I believed in myself. They saw my potential as an individual before I could even begin to comprehend such thoughts. That community helped me grow in countless ways and the relationships I have established have become essential to my identity. The idea of being part of a community and contributing to its success and growth has since become my true passion.Recently, I have begun to dive into the deeper understandings of consulting through various projects and books. My desire is to continue to develop my business acumen and skills further so that I can impact the companies that change the world, and my community.
