Project Engineer
CurrentProvide proactive Project Engineering services to the Briggs Group of companies in all aspects of the business consisting of Brewing, Distilling, Food, Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Industrial. Majority of this being through exceptional delivery of large-scale capital projects but also including sales, proposals, business development, process & project engineering and general project execution.• Travel locally and internationally for short term and extended periods to oversee installation, commissioning and when required to meet the business, client and project needs.• Input to site preparation, and liaison with other construction professionals such as architects, civil & structural engineers before construction work starts and to specify and procure equipment and specialty packages.• Maintain consistent approach to design and construction with regards to national and local regulations.• Conduct site surveys to gather information for production of P&ID's and 3D modeling.• Development of CADWorx database for all items on a project.• Support delivery of assigned projects with due respect to safety, cost, time and quality.• Management of the day-to-day activities associated with the administration and planning of project work to ensure successful delivery of projects.• Administration of quality, completeness, consistency and accuracy of deliverables necessary for the completion of assigned projects.• Ensure designs and projects meet all required standards including client, company, and legislative standards while ensuring the best efficiency is attained with regards to resource allocation• Development of project execution documentation, including but not limited to cost schedules, project budgets, project programs, commissioning plans, snagging lists, technical specifications, tender documents. • Ensure both Briggs and Client Health & Mechanical Safety standards are upheld across all business activities through supporting the Health, Safety & Quality Manager.
