• Provided engineering support in production line layouts, equipment fabrication, tooling design, ergonomic analysis, and production cycle time improvements for $3M Automated Assembly Line• Engaged with Logistics/Production/Maintenance departments to collectively meet their needs for incoming Automated Assembly Line• Collaborated with vendors to implement new casters on product transports plant wide to reduce factory noise by 5dB• Created standard CAD template for designing ergonomic material handling racks facility wide• Designed and constructed over 30 material handling racks to meet the needs of several production lines• Modified the layout of a 50,000 sq ft offsite storage warehouse to improve storage space by 200%• Performed powder paint thickness capability testing on production parts to update BOM usage / accuracy• Designed and constructed a full scale Styrofoam-cardboard prototype of an incoming production line for continuous improvement Kaizen workshops• Reverse engineered, designed, and modeled tooling for several production lines
