Austin Spizzirri is the Special Event Project Manager for Yaqub A. Brock Foundation for Giving. He's tasked with building connections with other organizations and holding fundraising events that bring the community together for a good cause. On top of that, he is an intern at Stout Factor Marketing where he helps with all aspects of setting up events from load in to load out.Austin Is also an artist from the city of Charlotte, North Carolina. Currently pursuing his education at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he is double majoring in Music Business and Management.For the past six years, he's been honing his craft as a songwriter, drawing from a lifetime of singing and writing experience. His musical journey started early, playing trumpet from 3rd to 9th grade and later immersing himself in choir throughout high school and joining the music honors society Tri-M. He's had the incredible opportunity to showcase his talents in various performances such as performing solo at the Red Room in Boston and including appearances with a chamber group at renowned venues like Disney World, Universal Studios, Nashville, and the Biltmore Estate.In 2019, during his freshman year of high school, he began his adventure into the world of composition, overseeing the soundtrack for a short film alongside two other composers. This project culminated in the film winning the Best Film Award at the NC Film Festival 2019.In his journey as an artist, he's explored different sounds and styles. After releasing his debut song "Miss You" in January 2022 -garnering over eight thousand streams across all platforms- he embarked on a journey of self-discovery, leading him to remove "Miss You" from all major platforms and release his first hip-hop song "Pretend" on Soundcloud in November 2023. Most recently, He released a single "ttorial" on all major platforms, paving the way for an upcoming EP and several exciting singles.Outside of music, he spent seven years at YMCA Camp Thunderbird, transitioning from camper to counselor. The experience instilled invaluable lessons on friendship, personal growth, and leadership. As a counselor, he learned the importance of teamwork and effective communication, skills that he carries with him in both his personal and professional endeavors.
