I am a graduate of American University's MS in Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security and I double-majored at the University of Utah with a BS in Criminology and a BS in Sociology while obtaining a Minor in Italian. I have excelled in these fields of study and am a proud member of the Honor Society, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the National Society of Leadership and Success. Currently, I am striving to strengthen and improve my local community by strengthening families' resilience through improving household conditions, referring for services, and ensuring the safety of children as an investigator for the Office of Children's Services. Through my experience in multiple fields of labor, I have gained knowledge of the important attributes needed for a team to complete the desired mission to a high standard. I understand how communication and teamwork propel the group to higher plains of achievement while sharpening individual strength and skills. In addition, I understand how to strengthen communities through the implementation and strengthening of individual and parental protective factors to prevent, or resist abuse. I am a quick learner and a hard worker who is not afraid of tackling new projects and challenges.
