- Assembles, creates, executes, and reviews loan documentation and associated reference source data and materials for purposes of verifying and preparing information and decisions in support of a variety of legal proceedings, including bankruptcy documents. - Work entails an understanding of both loan documentation and legal instruments and typically requires preparation of very complex and lengthy formats and documents. -Reads, interprets, and researches correspondence and legal documents including summons, subpoenas, liens and bankruptcy, mortgages, deeds of trust, promissory notes, assignments of mortgage to determine specific issues and course of action. -Typically provides information relevant to the status of the Affidavit in Support of Motion for Relief, Proof of Claim, Reaffirmation, B10 Form, Supplement 1 (Notice of Payment Change) B10 Form, Supplement 2.-Conduct online research to supplement information required for assessment. -Creates ad-hoc and complex correspondence and maintains key information related to the review process. -Works with internal and third party attorneys and associated staff members, consultants, and multiple team members throughout the servicing and default organizations. -May be called upon to testify to the legitimacy of the documents and review processes via deposition.-Role requires that team member serve and sign as officer of the company.- Must be able to achieve and maintain high quality, with 100% review of all work produced.- Responsible for managing a pipeline of loans while effectively communicating with internal and external attorneys and investors.- Performs manual mortgage calculations to validate principal, interest, escrow accounts, etc.- Additional responsibilities include compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high quality and meeting all other standards.-Hold an officer title, Vice President Loan Documentation.

Collaborate with borrowers to find solutions to maintain home ownership, including HAMP, proprietary modifications and re-payment plans. Also, if retention options are not available, discuss other foreclosure prevention options such as short sales and deeds in lieu. Additional job duties: -Interview borrowers to understand their specific situation; identify and request the appropriate documents required for loan modification review.- Analyze the customer's financial situation and making recommendations on loan modifications/workout options to resolve delinquency.- Answer inquiries from borrowers regarding the status of the loss mitigation, loan modification, short sale and foreclosure process.- Identify, maintain, track and log requested documentation for loan modification review.- Access information on multiple systems to inform borrowers of loan terms, important dates and deadlines.- Remain as the single point of contact to borrower throughout the loss mitigation, loan modification, and foreclosure process.
