Here, I would stay for up to 4 weeks in an isolated camp dealing specifically with the cultivation and collection of natural pearls.Duties included:- Working directly with researchers developing new and efficient methods to maximize output of pearls from Oysters by combating various diseases and natural threats from the marine environment. - Providing visual demonstrations of the product for VIP clients. Specifically daily operations and upkeep of the farming sites.- Cleaning and maintaining infrastructure and Oysters.

Employed as a commercial deckhand for the set net fishing operation of Eshamy Bay Lodge. Eshamy Bay Lodge is a resort, catering to fisherman and hunters in the heart of Alaska's Prince William Sound.My primary goal was to provide a professional and welcoming environment to all of our guests while simultaneously running the commercial fishing operations.Responsibilities include harvesting salmon during the summer fishing season, maintaining a clean and operational work environment, and assisting management with various tasks pertaining to customer relations and variety of guest activities.
