In my leadership role as a Pod Lead Assist, I provided support for UI Examiners who filed claims and assisted claimants, maintained chat rooms in Microsoft Teams with pod announcements and discussion topics for agents, participated in weekly meetings with Pod Leads and Pod Lead Assists in order to maximize pod efficiency and productivity, and performed maintenance on claims by discarding NMIs, placing remunerations on accounts etc.

As a UI examiner, I assisted claimants with filing UI claims, provided support to claimants accessing MIWAM, filed internal reports with other UIA departments, and advised claimants on what documents or information they needed to upload to the UIA for existing claims.

I worked in the accounting department as a bookkeeper where I was responsible for logging receivables and handling cash disbursements. Additionally, I was responsible for training new hires. Here, I also received reception experience where I handled incoming calls and package inventory and distribution.
