Currently I am working as an Automatic Transfer Switch Engineering Technician at Cummins. As a technician I work alongside engineers to design and troubleshoot ATSs’. My job requires me to read drawings and schematics to assemble these devices. I also have to review test requests and perform these tests. These tests allow me to troubleshoot these devices using calibrated test equipment. A key responsibility is also documenting and communicating test results to engineers. This job also requires the ability to modify parts and electrical circuits to better test equipment and or design flaws.In the past I have worked with technology, tech services, and customer satisfaction. This also included supervising and completing maintenance and troubleshooting of different devices such as Microsoft, Apple, and Linux computers, Android tablets, cellular phones, printers and other misc. devices. Completing and passing my Computer and Network Troubleshooting classes have assisted with this. Throughout this time period, my schedule has also included working with morning and night crews, training a variety of people, good selling behaviors. Customer satisfaction was another concept of my past experience. It was my responsibility to insure that each and every customer was highly satisfied with all our services. This has made me very good at conflict resolution and personal communications.I am also currently serving in the military. This is another reason I would make a great addition to your company. Serving has giving me great attention to detail. The discipline to listen and follow orders. Dealing with high stress situations calmly and effectively. As a soldier safety is also extremely important to me no matter what I am doing and to ensure that the environment I’m working in is safe for everyone including myself.
