• Implemented continuous improvement safety initiatives at a site of 1400 Amazon associates. • Analyzed safety metrics to identify incident trends and deficiencies and implement mitigation tools which led the site to a 10% reduction in first aid injuries and a 63% reduction in recordable injuries in 2021.• Currently overseeing 10 Workplace, Health, and Safety Specialists, 2 On-site Medical Representatives, 2 Hazardous Waste Coordinators and their development across 3 sites in Maryland. • Assisted the Regional Safety Manager with tracking regional wide safety program compliance for 5 sites in the Maryland region. • Identified trends, patterns, and opportunities for sites in the Maryland region and lead weekly regional discussions with site senior leaders on improvement plans and strategies.• Partnered with WHS specialist to Launch the site's donations program in 2022. Year to date the site has donated product a total monetary value of $42,000.• Led an initiative for the Baltimore region called Root Cause Analysis Training which is a 3-hour training used to train Amazon managers on how to conduct proper investigations, identify a root cause, and develop actions to resolve the identified root cause.• Perform audits and inspections to ensure quality control and quality assurance of record-keeping practices, trainings, and to measure the effectiveness of safety programs and policies at the site.• Implemented Amazon’s safety policies at the local, regional, and federal level. Ensured safety procedures are in compliance with Amazon and OSHA regulations.

Oversee and improve performance of all aspects of guard house, logistical, and yard operations across the designated region including but not limited to:· Lead guard house and yard activities across all sites and shifts within region, including supporting coordination of staff plans and operating schedules as well as setting up processes during new site launches.· Analyze and review guard house and yard performance metrics to bridge performance misses and identify/execute actions to improve performance.· Participate in weekly business reviews reviewing relevant metrics with internal teams as well as subject matter experts in the specified fields.· Review and manage escalations, identifying and implementing corrective actions where required.· Develop a strong performing team fostering a culture of safety, customer obsession and engagement.· Support cross-functional projects as needed working closely with other teams such as Human Resources, Finance, Facilities, Safety, Information Technology, Site Leadership, etc. in order to continuously improve yard safety and efficiency, as well customer experience.
