Responsible for leading teams in the design, testing, and certification of new PMA products. This requires the creation, submission, and support of data packages for the FAA-PMA certification process (per FAA Order 8110.42D and AC 21.303-4). Included in this effort are part specific certification plans (PartSCP), safety assessments, test plans, test reports, part eligibility research, and Instructions for continue airworthiness (IAC). Further, management of the initial production process requires the development and implementation of tooling and documentation for production staff, product data and part eligibility for sales staff, and the creation of technical guidance and maintenance instructions for product support personnel.As a senior member of the engineering, I'm responsible for the development and implementation of the engineering and company processes. Important processes created:FAA-PMA product development (per FAA Order 8110.4D and AC 21.303-4)Safety Assessment (per AC 23.1309 and ARP 4761)FAA & Company Test PlansPart Specific Certification Plans (PartSCP Order 8110.4D)Internal Engineering Data StandardsAdditional responsibilities include implemented design data standards, training, mentoring staff, supporting experienced engineers, and communicating technical data o non-engineering personnel and customers.

Responsible for development and support of new FAA-PMA products for general aviation aircraft (FAA Part 23). My Duties include project management, product development, testing, and creation and submission of data packages compliant with the requirements of FAA Order 8110.42D. Additional responsibilities include development of manufacturing tooling, process documentation, troubleshooting, and customer support.

Systems Engineer / Test Engineer (FTE) – As a member of the field team on a number of different test efforts, designed and installed instrumentation, wiring, and interfaces to aircraft systems. Coordinated and directed support personnel, technicians, and contract labor to quickly and safely complete equipment installation and test effort. Important Accomplishments:- Participated on over 14 different flight test programs, domestically and internationally.- Supported flight test operations and data collection under the authority of the FAA, USAF, USN, Transport Canada, and Turkish Navy- Designed and installed various test instrumentation packages on various US DOD, Part 25, and Part 23 aircraft.- Designed, installed, and supported the first airdata boom build by KSR use with rotorcraft testing.System Modeling – Co-developed the ground reactions model of the six-degree of freedom aircraft simulation used and sold by KSR. The model includes multi-sample rate simulation, empirical equations for landing gear system dynamics, and a streamlined method for model implementation.Important Accomplishments:- Co-developed a ground reactions model for Level C & Level D aircraft simulators certified under FAA AC 120-40B.
