I am a first-year student at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, majoring in entrepreneurship and marketing. I have a passion for innovative thinking and professional development, helping out the community, and problem solving in a group setting. I have demonstrated these skills and strengths in my past, starting in high school where I held a position as a marketing manager at Plainfield Gym and Tan and participated in DECA business club. While at my position at Plainfield Gym and Tan I worked with multiple social media platforms and other marketing strategies to increase the traffic and revenue for the local business. By the end of my time here, I increased the social media following by over 160% gathering over 1,000 followers and I implemented new promotional campaigns.Now as a Freshman, I work towards improving my professional and career development. I am improving my real-world experience through creating a non-profit organization that works towards providing fairly priced clothing to underprivileged communities. I am broadening my knowledge through joining student organizations as well as intramural sports. I find joy in helping out the community and learning about different advertisement programs.I hope to grow my involvement by joining the Tee Off at Kelley business club and the Innovative Idea Tank club during the upcoming fall. To continue developing my strengths in problem solving, innovative thinking, communication, and collaboration, I look forward to engaging in a marketing internship in the future. Ultimately, I see myself pursuing a career in marketing working towards increasing brand awareness, revenue, and improving marketing operations/campaigns.
