Austin Benedict is a seasoned commercial real estate broker advising clients in Middle Tennessee and surrounding areas for nearly fifteen years. Specializing in the retail property category, Austin has worked with a diverse range of clients, including institutional owners such as MetLife Insurance Company, (Trammel) Crow Holdings Capital, Jamestown L.P. and Goldman Sachs, as well as local and regional clients including Giarratana Development, Elmington Capital, Hastings, Novare Group and Nashville’s Metropolitan Development & Housing Agency. Austin’s roster of past and current occupier (tenant) clients includes Famous Footwear, Synovus Bank, 4Top Hospitality (Nashville dining favorites Etch, Char, et cetera and Amerigo), Avis/Budget Group and Kohler.Prior to founding Benedict Real Estate Company in 2022, Austin was a First Vice President at the Nashville office of CBRE. With an academic background in construction management and experience leasing dozens of projects, Austin coordinates all facets of the leasing process. His involvement includes providing schematic design feedback to conceiving and implementing the property’s marketing strategy through the completion of transaction negotiations. He is particularly valuable in overcoming the complexities that frequently arise in dense, mixed-use urban developments.Austin earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the Soderquist Business School at John Brown University, where he also studied Construction Management. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Holly, and their young children, as well as pursuing his passion for woodworking and home improvement projects.
