My work at BST primarily involved adding new features and fixing bugs in the company's core product, which is a WPF application written in C#, while also making extensive use of BST’s internal SDK. I worked with WCF services for communication between components and frequently created and modified SQL stored procedures. As check-ins always involved testing of some sort, I gained ample experience writing automated tests using a test-driven development approach. At BST I honed my ability to work effectively in a large-scale, fast-paced, agile environment with frequent collaboration across business departments.

My work for the summer involved porting a VB6 desktop app to an updated ASP.NET Web Forms version written in VB.NET. In my few months with the team, I was able to complete my portion of the project, which made extensive use of SQL (dynamic as well as stored procedures) and conformed to a three-tier architectural pattern.
