I acted as the "face of the club"while interacting with customers to provide a country club type feel at a semi-private golf club, while also coordinating the collection, washing, drying, prepping and storage of 60+ golf carts per shift. I also managed and maintained a tournament atmosphere within cart operations during tournament events while interacting with individuals involved in the tournament to provide the best experience possible. When not involved with cart operations, I maintained the driving range while collecting, washing and refilling more than 1200 golf balls per shift.

I provided instruction in the fundamentals of pitching mechanics to child athletes aged 6-11, in both individual and group settings. I also instructed parents and coaches on proper arm mechanics, maintenance, and post-pitching recovery. While communicating with both parents and athletes I stressed the importance of sound fundamentals in the prevention of injury. This role really helped me become much more confident when communicating with individuals I would consider to be my elders. This job also challenged me by placing me in situations involving young children that would require me to modify training sessions in order to maximize effectiveness while also keeping the child athlete engaged and focused. I was able to really share an activity I love while also taking on a mentoring role.
