Responsible for overseeing all administrative functions in the business. A major part involves leading and directing employees. Delegates administrative tasks, such as accounting, paperwork and payroll, while giving myself the freedom to deal with other issues.

I started at Bill’s Cardiff Central as a barman, progressing to an Senior Team Member and then more recently an Assistant Manager assisting with the opening of Bill’s Cardiff Bay in 2015. As one of the busiest restaurants in Cardiff it’s essential that standards are kept high at all times. My current responsibilities as Assistant Manager include: Opening and closing of the Restaurant Managing the smooth and efficient running of shifts Exceed sales forecasts and developing budget plans to successfully increase profit margins Managing all front of house staff rota against allowed spend Cashing out £5000+ each and managing evening accounts Manage a team of approximate 30 staff during shift, along with holiday requests Ensuring high moral of staff and customer satisfaction Developing an incentive programme to motivate and inspire employees Monitoring and evaluating employee performance Training of over 50 staff on company policies and hazard procedures

In 2017, I was chosen to join the Bill’s Opening Team as Bar Openings Manager to assist in opening a new restaurant in Plymouth and revamping the Covent Garden sight. Following on from this, I’m currently doing a 6 month secondment with the Openings Team, based in the London area. My responsibilities included:• Training new bar staff in the run-up to the opening• Managing the health and safety of the bar• Managing orders• Ensuring all Bill’s specifications are understood and actioned by staff members• Developing new ideas to complement the surrounding areas• Re-vamping the bars in accordance with the new concept

Origin Clothing was founded in 2015 with an aim to create sustainable clothing for the modern day adventurer. What started as a hobby has grown to be a successful business with a 100% increase in profits in the last year. As a one man band, I’m responsible for all aspects for the daily running of the company, including: Design/Graphics/Artwork Photography/Video Buying/Selling Marketing Web Development Managing orders and despatch Stock and account managementI’m positive that working full-time and running a successful company can go hand-in-hand, and the skills learnt during the process of establishing and managing Origin Clothing can be adapted to many working situations.
