I'm currently a senior at the University of Georgia, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Risk Management and Insurance. My coursework in Commercial P&C and Advanced Liability, along with my study abroad trip to Bermuda, has provided me with a solid foundation in Casualty Insurance. Through my internship at Westfield Specialty, I gained practical experience in Excess Casualty Underwriting by working with accounts from clearance to issuance. I have been trained on ImageRight and Guidewire, which have allowed me to enhance my technical skills.My career goal is to join a primary or excess carrier in an entry level underwriting role, where I am eager to continue learning and begin building a book of business.
