Sessions in Place is an Emmy-winning cinematic live-streamed concert series that began on April 11, 2020 and has continued for 80+ episodes. SIP continues to provide artists with a safe and hospitable environment to perform, live performance photo and video from their session, as well as provide a place for audio, camera, and lighting technicians to practice their craft.

At Slackline, Austin serves as a founding partner, and handles production-related duties. For most productions, Austin acts as Director of Photography and Producer.

Started by doing motion graphics during the pandemic era, then transitioned to serving as de facto Director of Photography and virtual production specialist.

A Light in the Darkness", A Light in; Served as a manager overseeing a rotational crew of more than fifty people. In charge of building crew schedules and making sure all crew-related paperwork and releases are taken care of and organized. Worked closely with the Director and Producers to determine the size of crew needed for a particular shoot, and made sure that all crew needs were taken care of. Also contributed ideas to work around scheduling conflicts.

Work independently and as a team on a variety of productions. Genres vary from event documenting (video) to promotional videos for non-pro t organizations, including the City of Winter Park. Tasks include operating a Sony EX3 and support, setting up lighting equipment and calibrating audio equipment.

Worked alone and with a crew up to three on producing commercials for local clients. Worked closely with clients and sales representatives developing ideas and putting them on TV. Set up lights, sound gear, camera and support, and operated camera on location. Captured/logged footage, developed and managed graphics (both still and motion) for spots, as well as all other steps of the editing process. Worked with voice talent, or provided it myself when necessary. Also was required to set up and operate studio cameras for live broadcasts, remote live shots, and also shoot for sporting events (live and taped). Tasks varied from working independently to working in large teams for sports/news broadcasts depending on the event.

Ride Guys, Inc is a small business that restores antique coin-operated amusement rides. Primary responsibilities were to fabricate new parts from stock steel. Special skills required were welding, accuracy in measuring, and developing an efficient work ow.

Tasks initially included setting up and operating the station's remote van for live cut-ins during the morning show. Job required the ability to work independently as the only production crew on-site, and to work with various members of the community and on-air talent. After a short while, the job expanded to include working in-studio and on location for the evening news broadcasts as well.

Job assignments included cleaning up the shop and yard, welding, other forms of fabrication, and various other tasks.
