The thesis proposed a framework to assess a SMMCs information management strategy using Valcon as a case example and received grade 12/12.Small to medium sized management consultancies (SMMC) are reliant on their consultant’s knowledge to meet and exceed client expectations in delivering solutions. The approach and considerations a SMMC takes to achieve a strategy which leverages their knowledge while accommodating their characteristics are key. However, the role of Information Systems (IS) in the age of digitalization is also to be considered. Therefore, understanding the implications of strategically balancing the management of information between technology and people were at the center of this thesis.
