Throughout my time with NR, we had an average of 85 vacation homes and 15 long term rental properties in our inventory.Responsibilities included four seasons of property and expense management, extensive customer service, extensive computing, accounts payable, marketing, and an array of miscellaneous tasks. I continuously worked with my general manager and marketing department over my 23 months with NR to market each property individually on our local and national websites and on social media. Being one of two local employees that had access to the properties, I was vital in the detailing of these homes, proving why they were above and beyond the thousands of competing properties in the region. I took professional style photographs for our site and social media, plus hired a drone operator to capture stunning shots of our waterfront properties for our sites and media. I inventoried and wrote detailed descriptions of each home down to how many spoons in the drawer, allowing our future or repeat guests to completely understand what they were dealing with. Natural Retreats is a young company, constantly learning and evolving. With lots of local and nation-wide competition, we are ambitious and take calculated risks if we feel it will separate us from the pack. Also included the operation of two 20,000 lb capacity freight elevators, hauling in and out unique items like antique cars, pianos, art, and other interesting oddities. I often drove 26 foot Enterprise box trucks, delivering high-dollar goods like kitchen appliances being kept in our warehouse to construction sites around Metro Boston.This business was bought by MIT for 200% market value after several previous declines offers and we closed our doors after over 130 years of business. Metropolitan Moving & Storage was a local landmark in Cambridge and its closing was very controversial. It yielded lots of valuable experience and allowed me to understand the affect strong business and thoughtful customer service can have on a community.I very much enjoyed my time here. Show less

Organized and executed a online retail space for a whole-sale dealer, representing industry leading brands such as Solomon, Spider, Skull Candy and brands alike. The licensed Ebay Store (different than a personal account) sold items at a high rate earning commission off each item sold. This was a trial period for a business owner thinking of converting his business online.

The Hit Zone was an indoor athletic facility and catered to all sports and athletic events. I managed this space, open and close the business, ran register and was responsible for customer services. The business owner (Ex-Pro Athlete and Harvard grad) then became a close confidant of mine, later writing my college recommendation.

Helped create, build and maintain a sports camp in my hometown of Marblehead Massachusetts. This is one of my most cherished accomplishments and memories. Each session of each year would sell-out with little marketing effort. The age groups were 6-8 and 9-11 and taught us councilors great patience and responsibility at a young age. The camp became a town-favorite and lead to building incredible relationships, and a very positive reputation throughout our community.
