During my employment at Hickory Tavern, I was offered the chance to apply at Trump National Charlotte by one of their management team. Curious, I took a look and decided it to be a fantastic opportunity for growth. I began as a waiter in their Tavern/Dining room for two years before being promoted to full-time bartender. At the end of my third year, I was offered a position in Management for F&B operations. I accepted as of June 2019 and have been working to gain experience in leadership everyday since. The experience that I have gained from this property and its team have been instrumental in shaping my adult professional development. Among my current responsibilities are daily operations of dining facilities, event operations, and coordination of beer offerings property wide.

While working at Red Rocks Cafe', I was offered a position in sales/marketing at JMS Southeast. The owner saw one of my home-made boat projects and tracked me down to recruit me. I took him up on the offer and worked for a short time manufacturing their high quality temperature probes for use in aerospace/industrial applications. Welding, Electrical wiring, and Advanced fabrication techniques were among the many skills that I took with me after leaving the position.

A long commute was worth the experience that I gained from working with Jack Hennop and the rest of the team. As they are one of the best in sales for the entire east coast, I was held to high standards and quickly adopted them as my own. I cannot express how incredibly fortunate I am to have began my working career with Darren Wiggins; Operator of this prized location.
