During my time at OneSignal, I familiarized myself with various software deployments, data monitoring, and programming tools. I leveraged Kubernetes and Docker to deploy Prometheus, Grafana, and AlertManager, enabling me to collect and graph data from locally run services. Additionally, I worked with Python and PostgreSQL to implement record count functionality across different shards in the Production Postgres DataBase. Using this data and Presto query insights, I created a Grafana Dashboard in Jsonnet to visualize percentage differences in record count, ensuring smooth data transfers between databases.Lastly, I utilized Airflow and statsd-exporter to incorporate airflow metrics into Prometheus, crafting a dashboard that tracked crucial metrics such as task failures, duration, and scheduling. My experience also encompassed effective teamwork and communication, collaborating with my manager and peers on impactful projects.
