Sessions 1, 2, 3This course was designed to provide an overview of computer science as well as teach fundamental computer-programming skills. Students were introduced to concepts from the history of computer science, discrete mathematics, computer networking, and software engineering. In addition, students learned about data types, expressions and variables, data structures, if-else statements, for and while loops, procedures, algorithms, and input/output. Students worked by themselves and in groups to code solutions to problems in the programming language Python or any other programming language of their choosing.

Built a Levantine ceramics web application prototype under research funds awarded to Prof Andrea M. Berlin and continued to offer technology support during and briefly after the implementation of the final version of the application, which was built by another company using Ruby on Rails.

This job really started it all. VoiceOverDirectory.com needed help managing its content; I started working here and quickly began helping shape the future vision of the company, including the creation of new products/services (e.g., building personalized, business websites for customers).
