Using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System software program (Corridor Aviation Service Software and Microsoft Dynamics), responsibilities were to manage the entire purchasing process from the initial demand, parts/service request, Request for Quote (RFQ) sourcing & pricing, executing Purchase Orders, logistics management, to receipt and quality assurance of exact products, ensuring on-time delivery to maintenance—often in an Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situation. Responsible for Inventory Management including tactical stock levels, automatic inventory restock per min/max schedules, and appropriate return of unusable or incorrect materials (Return Material Authorization). Successfully and consistently achieved a 20-32% profit margin on parts sourced, quoted, and sold within maintenance events. Cost Savings Initiative: Reduced unnecessary inventory levels and un-needed purchases by 70% within two years; maintained appropriate inventory levels per maintenance event planning during tenure.Secondary Responsibilities: Inside sales of aircraft parts from inventory, and also to broker parts from outside vendors direct to customers.
