I have spent the past few years learning a lot about how businesses operate, how they make money, and how they are valued. This learning began from school classes and continued from work as both a Teachers Assistant and a Research Assistant in accounting, and eventually exponentially grew when I began working as the CFO and Treasurer for a small start-up company called Cratos in early 2021. This experience was very hands on and taught me the process of how a business grows from an idea in someone's head to turning over day to day sales. I learned how to forecast and budget for business operations and execute the financial accounting. I became extremely comfortable using excel spreadsheets (with advanced proficiency) and collaborative tools such as ClickUp and Slack. During this time I also conducted revenue data analytics for optimization of sales strategies. Because of the smaller company magnitude, I was able to wear a lot more hats and learn about multiple different processes and skills that would typically have their own departments in most larger companies. I embrace challenge with competitive ambition and I can problem-solve with just as much creativity as deliberate calculation. I want to use this platform to connect with companies that can foster my desire for growth.
